Quickname: 5978
Suitable for K-12 grades: Grade 5 Grade 6
Elementary School, Primary School, Junior High School, Middle School.
Summary
An oblique sketch of a geometric shape is shown. Name the shape.
Example
Description
Axonometric representations of geometric shapes are shown. The names of the shapes have to be provided.
This is a list of available shapes:
- cuboid / cube
- prism
- pyramid
- tetrahedron
- cylinder
- cone
The size of the sketch can be selected from three steps. The background may be plain white or a raster grid.
In case of a raster background, there are two choices for the oblique projection:
- Corners are aligned to the raster
- Lines are drawn according to the cavalier perspective. In that case, lines in z direction will usually not be aligned to the raster.
