Details for problem "Geometric shape: Add missing invisible lines "
Quickname: 1443
Suitable for K-12 grades: Grade 5 Grade 6
Elementary School, Primary School, Junior High School, Middle School.
Summary
The invisible lines are missing in an an oblique sketch of a geometric shape. Add them to the drawing.
Example
Description
Axonometric representations of geometric shapes are shown.
The invisible lines that are obscured have been omitted from the drawing. These lines have to be added to the drawing to complete it.
This is a list of available shapes:
- cuboid / cube
- prism
- pyramid
- tetrahedron
- cylinder
- cone
Each of these shapes may be selected or deselected individually.
The size of the drawing can be selected from three sizes or a range of these. Either a white background or a raster grid background may be chosen.
In case of a raster grid background, there are two choices for the oblique projection:
- Corners are aligned to the raster
- Lines are drawn according to the cavalier perspective. In that case, lines in z direction will usually not be aligned to the raster.
As an aid, the name of the shape may be provided in addition to the drawing itself.
