Seven problems on columnar addition with an increasing level of difficulty.
On this worksheet, various tasks are provided on the topic of columnar addition. The first three tasks are easy tasks in which two-digit numbers are to be added together. There are no carryovers in the first task, only a maximum of one carryover in the second task, and no restrictions regarding carryovers in the third task.In the fourth task the numbers become larger, here two three-digit numbers are to be added in writing. In the following two tasks, these tasks are presented with solutions, but as gap tasks, where some digits have been omitted, these have to be added. In the first of these tasks the numbers to be entered are given as an aid, this simplification does not exist in the second task. Finally, the worksheet ends with a task in which such gaps have to be filled by adding three three-digit numbers.
