In a series of multiplication terms with same product, the number of places move from first to second factor.
Each problem shows a series of product terms. The product is given ans is the same for all product terms. It has a large number of places, most of which are zeroes. In each consecutive step, the first factor is divided by ten, while the latter one is multiplied by ten. This way, by going through the series of product terms, the factors are exchanging their number of places while the product stays the same.
The range of powers of ten can be specified. The product itself can be chosen to be a plain power of ten only, or it may be a multiple so the first one or two places may be different from 1 and 0.
It can be selected whether all steps in the series are provided with blanks to be filled in, or only the first to steps and product terms are given and a continuation is asked for.
The number of problems can be selected.
